Pastor Stephen Chandler

Pastor Stephen Chandler is the Senior Pastor and visionary of Destiny Harvest Church. After a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit at the age of 16, he discovered God’s destiny for his life: to impact those far from God with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

This destiny began to unfold with the launch of citywide youth gatherings where hundreds of youth had powerful encounters with Christ. These gatherings developed into the youth ministry at New Life International Fellowship that discipled over one hundred students each week through services and after-school programs meeting at several Baltimore area high schools. Pastor Stephen served in this capacity as Youth Pastor at New Life for five years.

 

A radical relationship with Jesus Christ lived out with purpose and focused on eternity is the heart of Pastor Stephen’s message. His passion is seeing people live out their God-given destiny and become active in building the Kingdom of God.

 

Pastor Stephen attended The University of Maryland, College Park, where he received a B.S. in Economics and currently resides in Reisterstown, MD with his beautiful wife Zai.

 

 

Pastor Zai Chandler

Pastor Zai is the Lead Pastor of Destiny Harvest Church and Campus Pastor for the Woodlawn campus.  Prior to entering ministry full-time, Pastor Zai served as the Hospitality Dream Team Leader at Destiny Harvest Church.  She also worked as a nurse, creating an atmosphere where healing could take place both physically and spiritually.

 

 

Pastor Zai's pursuit of Christ began at the crossroads of tragedy, where she encountered the unfailing love of the Father and was forever transformed.  Her life bears testimony to God's ability to turn your biggest weakness into your greatest asset, give you beauty for your ashes and an oil of joy for your mourning.

 

 

Pastor Zai's passion is to see people radically transformed in the same way that she has been.  Building up the faith of God's children and letting those far away from Him know that God has not forgotten about them is her greatest desire: to share this story of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, who does not and cannot disappoint.  It is her hope that those who encounter Christ would love Him with a fearless type of love, that they would be so touched by how He saved them that they now live to serve Him.

 

 

Pastar Zai attended The University of Pittsburgh and The University of Maryland, College Park.
